Subject: OT mac batch converter
Message #66642
Hi Are there any mac program that can batch convert sd2 files to wav or aiff? I hope batch convert is the right name, what I want to do is change many sd2 files to wav in one go. What about Peak? Best, Mikael Adle www.cosmikdali.com

yes, peak can do this. and you can batch multiple DSP functions, like Premiere plugs too. George Leger wrote > Try Audio ease's Barababatch. Waves Convert Pro from Waves is a good batch converter. You can make setups with chains of Waves Premiere Plugins. Barbabatch is also very good. Don´t know if it supports plugins though... Another alternative is a freeware called Sound App. Get it at: http://www-cs-students.stanford.edu/~franke/SoundApp/ /magnus > Hi > Are there any mac program that can batch convert sd2 files to wav or > aiff? You could just do it in Logic! - Select all your files in the audio window - use the <copy/convert files> option (audio file menu) - select wav or aiff or whatever - even change the bit rate! Useful program, Logic....... Regards - Colin

What about Peak? i use SoundApp, which allows one to set up a "destination" file format/bit depth/etc. and then will convert any and every format the program is capable of playing into that destination format. quite useful. and the program is FREE! yep, freeware. very impressive. everyone (not just audio pros) should have it! http://www-cs-students.stanford.edu/~franke/SoundApp/ i think someone already mentioned this but Logic has the ability to convert audio files in the audio window' submenus. (don't have Logic handy to double-check that - it's on the audio computer @ home, but i'm sure someone can provide the jiffy. i use SoundApp, so i'm not too familiar with Logic's method for doing this sort of thing.) -- Michael Brien Lane the Bruddah Max

I say that "soundapp", is the best shareware that can do almos any conversion in audio issues. Download it at www.versiontracker.com bests Chris > >> From: micke.adle@... > >> Reply-To: logic-users@yahoogroups.com > >> Date: Fri, 01 Jun 2001 20:51:39 -0000 > >> To: logic-users@yahoogroups.com > >> Subject: [LUG] OT mac batch converter > >> > >> Hi > >> Are there any mac program that can batch convert sd2 files to wav or > >> aiff?
