The other day I realized for the first time what really makes the manual seem so hopelessly abstract and bizarre: it is organized around the the various Logic 'windows' - as if Logic users somehow carried out their recording by proceeding from window to window. Please, Emagic, hire a somewhat less abstract mind to rewrite you manuals! I would look carefully, Wade, at whatever 'tutorial' files are included on your Logic CD. If you want to understand the environment, get Len Sasso's Guide to the Environment (www.swiftkick.com). Good luck, Tony Maxwell
