Subject: LAWP Midi Controller
Message #53009
Hi, I bought a Evolution MK-149 today and set it up (akin to my 3 Logic problems I'm having anyway) It all works kinda fine apart from two problems. When I first open Logic I get no midi output from either the keyboard, or pressing keys on the matrix role with the mouse until I either press play or record, which gives a short lag and then I hear a few piano sounds play!?!? I don't know why. I can now hear midi sounds when I play the keyboard, but each time I press a key on the keyboard the "Free Memory" monitor on the transport goes down in numbers???!!! the recording, play editing and modulation all work fine, but the reading on the Free Memory goes down everytime I press a key or move a fader (such as the modulation or pitch bend). Anyone got any idea why? I'm using/running LAWP 4.61 Yamaha SW1000 XG (with latest ASIO 2.40 drivers, the Keyboard in connected to the midi in on this) SB live Value (which IS disabled in Logic, I DO NOT USE IT, but it has the latest drivers, installed for Direct X applications basically) XGedit Prosoniq Timestretch Recycle I think they are the only programs or pieces of hardware that could have an effect....please get back to me someone. - Dan
