I am all set when it comes to recording and playing back midi files in logic, but Im unsure on the exact procedures for doing audio... I dont know how to import audio files, this is the way I do it currently, I open the audio pool window, then drag and drop any .wav files from windows explorer (im using win98 if you figured it out already)... then i drag and drop the .wav files from the audio pool window to the arrangement window... and tada... when i hit play, no sound, but i can see the visual monitors in the mixer window indicating that something is playing... is there something setup wrong? now heres my recording question... I have been trying to record within logic, but when i start to record it seys, disk too slow.. ok, i can figure that one out, but i have a 5000 rpm drive, is this not going to cut it? i could play 16 + tracks in cubase, but i cant play or record 1 track in logic? is this right? pentium 2 333 128 mb ram 9 gig drive 5000rpm basic midi interface egosys waveterminal 2496 your comments... For the next few weeks you will have to bear with my logic newbie questions, for I am cubase... excuse me, ex-cubase user... who knows nothing more than the basics of logic...
