Well, just looking at the specs on their site (www.ixmicro.com), I'm
underwhelmed.
Just 8MB VRAM which has to handle two monitors. Their chart for what depths
are possible at what resolutions illustrates low limited it is.
Right now each of my cards can handle millions of colors for their
respective
monitors, which is important to me for grafix apps (e.g., Photoshop is so
much easier to deal with on 3 monitors at full color), although for Logic I
bring them all down to 8-bit for speedier redraws/ lower PCI bus load. (In
theory.)
In this age of 16 MB VRAM on cards, they'll have to do a lot better before I
bite. Others may be able to live with the bit depth limits.
