Hi- I've noticed that editing/moving/copying/selecting midi data in the Audio Instrument tracks is PAINFULLY slower than in regular (default) midi tracks...to the point where selecting one midi note in the matrix editer and moving it takes about 3-6 seconds and sometimes longer! BUT If I move the entire track to one of the default midi channels, it edits without delay. I've tried to troubleshoot by exporting my 2 midi tracks and then completely reformating and reintalling OS 9.04 and reinstalling Logic and updating to the latest 4.1.4. I then imported the midi tracks back into a brand new song...but I got the same slowdown. I hadn't even assigned any VST instruments to the audio instrument tracks yet (the song uses 1 LM-4 and 1 PRO 5). But again, moving the midi tracks to a default midi channels works fine. Has anyone else had this problem? I've got pretty fast machine (G3/Ultrawide/Audiowerk 2/256 megs ram) Thanks for your insight, dave
