Hi
I just bought and installed a Unitor 8 MkII (connected to my Computer's
serial port). Although the interface seems to be working fine (in the
control software all's cool) when I fire up Logic I now get the dreaded
"key
doesn't respond" error, even though the dongle is exactly where it's
always
been, and the only difference is it now has the Unitor connected to the
other end.
PLEASE anybody out there who has any ideas how to solve this let me know.
This is only the latest installment in an 8 day saga involving first an
8PortSE, Motu MTP and now the Unitor. Deadlines are getting broken and
clients are getting pissed off.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Jules
PS. I've tried running the key finding app and it tells me to connect the
dongle to my com port - which it is already

Chaining the Unitor8 to the dongle requires LAW 4.0 or later!
