I have an 8600, which I upgraded with an XLR8 CarrierZIF/400MHz, currently
running very stable at 432 Mhz. If you can get a deal on an older,
upgradable pci power mac, a G3 (or even G4) upgrade is a possibility that
you should definitely consider. It makes everything old seem new again :)
