Win2k = NT 5.0. It is not a consumer version and there is not going to be
one at this stage. There has been talk about a consumer version down the
track -- Neptune -- but plans on these things are always changing eg NT5
was originally called Ciaro and was supposed to come out sometime around
1995 ;-)
Win2K is from all reports a very robust OS but as to how well it performs
for audio apps like Logic -- the developers and beta testers are the ones
who know and they aren't saying (yet) -- perhaps there will be news on this
front at NAMM later this week.
