Subject: OT: Music installation in public area - hardware?
Message #15576
Hi, I'm sorry for being off topic on this matter but I'm on a deadline checking out hardware for setting up "music installations" in public areas. The idea is to let people listen to music while they are waiting for the airport bus to arrive. I've been working with tape machines and CD players in the past but maybe some kind of mp3 player would fit this job better? Anyone know if they could be set to work on steady power connection instead of the built in battery? There are about ten areas to be covered. Either I could propose distributing the music from a central player to ten pairs of speakers, or I could come up with a cheap solution for setting up ten local playing devices (this would be more fun - if I find the right hardware) If you think of any advice, tip etc, please mail me in private at per@... Kindly per Boysen Sweden
