Now that Be seems to been conjugated into the past tense, I am hoping that
Emagic will release other platform news at NAMM - after all, Mac OS X and
Windows 2000 do constitute 2 major platform developments. What I would like
to know is:
1. Will Mac OS X offer any advantages over Mac OS 9 for audio applications
(especially Logic, of course)?
2. Is Windows 2000 (the consumer version) really based on NT, and will it
offer any advantages for audio applications?
The audio market is a small one, and we are probably close to the bottom of
the list at both Apple and Microsoft. It would be a shame, though, if
supposedly major OS advances on both platforms didn't give us anything...
Can anybody cheer us up with some good news?
