Subject: AUDIO GLITSCH solved, even All problem after 1 years!!!!!!!!
Message #15564
Dear Luggers, Ray, Buddy, Sascha, PHeeewww............. At last, I changed my Motherboard and processor to "Abit BH6 and celeron 300@450Mhz" LAWP running smoothly and I test 18 stereo tracks and 12 Plugin (5 compresor, 3 Platinum verb, 3 TC EQ, 1 stereo delay) with no Glitsch anymore and problem! even LAWP 4.04 doesnt see any "CPU too Slow" message! I thoght there is Logic problem......... sorry Sascha!!!!!!! but the true is known now..............I just know now after I use it for 1 years! seems ridicilous that I work with Conflict setup Motherboard for a years! huh!!!!!! last year, I ask Sascha why Im get "CPU too slow" just only using 1 stereo tracks and 1 plugin (4.0-4.04), seems my Asus is not compatible with Logic 4 up.................almost 1 years I used this bitch/conflict Motherboard from ASUS and now everythings solve when I change to Abit! SETUP is same..............I just trade it the Motherboard and Celeron 300@450Mhz only! I know, maybe the IRQ setup is different, but still ASUS make it conflict with same setup isn't it? regards, Sandi >>>please help me, I have problem with LAWP 4.1~audio glitsch.......... >>>My setup is: Asus PII B-B 333MHZ, 128MB, WIN98 Seagate 3,2G (Master/system) Quantum fireball 8,4G (slave/audio) AGP8MB AW8 LAWP 4.1 SMPU64 USB midi interface Voyetra midi interface CPU overload to "Buffered" I/O buffer size "8" ( not good if I set to 1,2 or 4). I have try to follow all instruction and tips from Sascha and other, like "disable behind chache memory, or make different setting on Virtual memory, also set the max of Vchache in system.ini, typical role of this macine, graphic acceleration, whatever, try this try that........ I had try everything and still sometimes the audio sound "GLITSCH"........... (stop in the middle of the song or wherever sometimes) I never had this problem in LAWP 3.5 (until now) too bad "CPU too slow" often appears in 3.5! system is more good at 4.1, I dont receive the message until the CPU meter is up 100%! I know that............ CPU too slow is no problem anymore since 4.1 added CPU overload detect! my problem is glitsch now...........
