But you somehow seem upset that a dealer somewhere is discounting Gold to this incredibly low price of also US$299? Hey, turn-that-frown-upside-down and just buy Gold outright for US$299 instead of doing the upgrade! But then you can sell your old dongle (illegally?), or keep it as a spare.
