Select all regions on the vocal track (usually by clicking the track name). Copy these regions with Command-C. Open the song you want to copy the vocal to and make sure you have an equivalent audio track* to paste the regions to. Make this the currently selected track. Assuming your target song has the same arrangement, select 'Paste at original Position' from the Local Edit Menu. *If, when you say 'whole thing track and all', you mean the audio regions plus the audio object including all plug-ins and their settings, go back to your original song and go into your audio Environment. Select the audio object for your vocal track and copy it (Command-C again). Go to the audio Environment of your target song and paste (Command-V). Your audio object will appear with all plug-ins and settings preserved from the previous song. Note: when you paste the audio object, it will be put in the same physical place it came from, so make sure there's a space ready for it. Hope this helps Richard Bull Higher Ground Productions http://www.richguy.demon.co.uk
