Hi Marco > With AW8 there is 2 Chanel ana in or 1 spdif in is it > possible to mix those input chanels with recorded audio track ? Yes, in a way. You have to record enable the object and have Auto Input Monitoring *off*. This will keep the track on input all the time. But this is subject to latency, as pointed out below. > I want to listen my sampler via digital out mixed > with recorded audio track in logic You are aware that you sacrifice the AW8's feature to match the sample rate to incoming timecode while you have it connected to another clock source (the sampler), right ? Use the sampler's analog outs and a mixing board. > do you think it's > possible because everytime I try to select an audio > object and trying to select what it will control I > can't acces the Input (AW8) the only way to listen > the input is to push rec on a track. The AW8 has extra input objects, but they are not really useful since they don't have any controls on them :-) Note that on anything less than a dedicated hardware DSP system (ie. Protools or similar) there will be latency from around 5 to maybe 50 ms from input to output. This would apply to any signal present at the inputs and only with the extra short 'signal path' of the record enable function the delay becomes barely useable, if at all. For this reason you can even switch off monitoring of the recording signal BTW. This short signal path is also the reason why there are no plugins available on the inputs. Christian
