A. It's a really nice OS - a pleasure to work in. B. Anyone who has had the pleasure of using it would like to be using it for productive purposes, not just for noodling around. And that is only going to happen when the manufacturers start supporting it. And THAT is only going to happen when those who are interested speak up. C. We're not thinking about today - that's already here and there's nothing we can do about the state we're already in. We're thinking about tomorrow and how we can influence how we work and play then. What I don't understand is why everyone who has never even looked at BeOS can be so negative about it.... > -----Original Message----- > how come we get so many posts about this ? > Are you all dreaming of the day when PT 24 bit TDM is over and dead like > Spectral or Synclavier, because a 500MHz cpu on BeOs will make Logic do > 64 > stereo trax with live plugins and 128 midi trax ? > Is that all you can think/worry about ?
