I was just demystifying the very real unrealistic belief that you can master your own mix - everyone knows you have to much of a relation with a song by the final mixdown stage. A new engineer can bring in an unbiased sonic evaluation of the mix in relation to the whole album. This is something that is necessary in a professional environment.
