Hello, Here's my set-up and my question: I have Logic Pro 7.2 installed on my powerbook G4: 1.67ghz, 2 gig ram, motu 828mkII firewire 400 with an owc 600 gig raid external drive on the fw 800 bus. My question is how many live audio tracks is a reasonable number to expect to record simultaneously at 48Khz and 24bit res? i was recording a symphony with 10 tracks when suddenly a "disk too slow" error message showed up after a horribly loud burst of white noise hit my ears...any help with this question is truly appreciated...could it be a problem connecting to both the fw 400 and the fw800 ports? thank you, pjf
