Subject: [LUG] virus TI
Message #236624
anyone have experience using the virus control software with USB audio with minimal latency (ie 10ms or less)? i have an rme fireface 800 and so dont want to use the TI as the audio interface, but am wondering why the latency is so high, i am guessing its 60ms or higher. access seems to suggest to solve the problem that you should alternate btwn using the analog(to track midi low latency) and then switch to usb for playback. this just seems like alot of fiddiling around so i am wondering if i am missing something or this is just how the software is.

This is exactly my setup as well. Totally feel the same way. I think they just haven't figured out the latency issues yet. Hopefully the next OS update will fix it? Aaron

I believe it's in the channels when you open the plugin, but I can't check, my Virus is not here right now. Kai
