Subject: [LUG] Virtual guitarist + VG FX on 10.4.9 		Message #236517
Hi all again, Upgrade to Logic 8 took some time but went smoothly. However, since going to Mac OSX 10.4.9 1. Virtual guitarist and Virtual guitarist FX will not validate in Logic 8 and 2. Virtual guitarist FX will no longer validate in Logic 7 (was OK when on Mac OSX 10.4.3) I've upgraded to the latest version on the Steinberg website. Has anyone been in the same predicament? Thanks for any help!

Yes, I was! But I managed it to work on logic8/ OS10.4.11....Just download the update from Steinberg for VG and after you install it make sure you tell it where your VGEE library is located, if it fail the validation, go to the audio units manager and manually click in the check box, and it will be validated. Works great for me! Good Luck

Well, I tried, but alas no-go. I downloaded all the latest installers for MacOSX, VG and syncrosoft. :-( I'm on a PPC Quad G5. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
