This just in from Spectrasonics: We have not done extensive testing with our plug-ins on Leopard yet, but have been able to get Atmosphere, Trilogy, and RMX on G4/G5 Macs and with RMX on an Intel Mac. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best Regards, Sam Pursglove Technical Support Specialist info@spectrasonics.net www.spectrasonics.net

The depressing part is that no mention of Atmosphere or Trilogy for Intel is even hinted at. I imagine other manufacturers are kicking themselves for the missed opportunity of coming out with a comparable product in the last 1.75 years that could have worked on Intel. f-erenc szabo, smarty pants Z+E+R+O+B+E+A+T "NOW POWERED BY THE MIRACLE OF THE TRANSISTOR!" <http://home.goodmedia.com/~zerobeat>

Maybe not all their products are affected, butmy Oxygene 8 certainly seems to be. I installed the driver downloaded today but AudioMidi setup (or anyone else) doesn't see the keyboard... Subject: [LUG] Old songs dead in Logic 8

So it seems that old Logic songs pre version 5 won't open in Pro 8. A message pops up that the song must first be opened in v7.2.x Thanks a lot Apple - nice one! (That's why they let us keep our old versions during the install) One more thing: We used to be able to open old songs that were configured for "legacy" setups like ASIO or STUDI/O, copy the config, then paste it into Core Audio. Now this Audio Configuration window seems to have ended up on the Apple cutting room floor. ?? Better hang on to those old versions of Logic.... Regards - Colin

So much for composing, I think I've become a librarian/data input guy. I'm just going to keep LP7 on one of my machines just in case i run across a piece thats not 'updated'. Boooooooo Ciao Gio
