The Group Buy has already achieved the best discount of 40% and
Audioease are now able to start accepting and processing your orders
for Speakerphone and the Nautilus and Rocket Science bundles. Please
note carefully this information:
There is an online store opened especially for the Group Buy. In
order to process your order, you must use the email address you
signed up for the group buy with.
In order to prevent the same customer odering several copies of any
of the items on offer, the store has a safety mechanism in place.
Please pay particular attention to this:
IMPORTANT: YOU CAN ONLY GO THROUGH THE ONLINE STORE ONCE WITH YOUR
EMAIL ADDRESS!
If you have ordered two or all of the items on offer, make sure to
check each of the products when entering the store. You will not be
able to go through it a second time!
Shipping is either priority or fedex (or in the case of downloads, none).
Nautilus and Rocket science are not shipped from the on-
line store. They are pretty small downloads, and you register when
you purchase so there are no serial numbers and all.
All software is available for download right after a purchase is
completed
The address of the store is:
http://audioease.com/lug_buy.html
the order of events from that page on is:
1: product selection
2: shipping selection
3: address details
4: summary and pricing of your order
5: creditcard data (secure)
6: creditcard validation result.
By this time emails will have been sent with further download and
authorization instructions per product.
The Speakerphone download is 4.5 gigabyte, so expect to be
downloading quite a while given the number of expected downloaders.
After reading the emails and downloading the software, authorization
is automatic so you don't have to wait for Audioease to manually
answer any challenge response emails or such.
Those customers with EU businesses should keep their VAT number handy.
All questions regarding the purchase or shipping process can go
directly to audioease at:
info@audioease.com
kind regards

I guess we still have time until november 14 to sign up with the
group buy? I'm interested in Riverrun, that is part of the Nautilus
package, but I do not have the money on my VISA account until about a
week into the future... hopefully.
I have asked on this list before but not seen any note on how to sign
up? Is there a web site somewhere for this LUG group buy signing up?

I paid and downloaded Nautilus and Rocket Science last night and I have to
report that River Run seem to have a bug. After stopping Logic Riverrun
keeps playing the processed file until I bypass the plugin (like Izotopes
Vinyl sometimes do). Apart from that Nautilus and Rocket Science works fine
with Logic 8 and Leopard. It is slightly annoying that Riverrun uses SDII
files though but that is just a nuisance not a real issue.
Speakerphone will come by mail so I'm looking forward to that now.
PS I love the interfaces on these plugins.

Are other users as well experiencing these problems with River Run?
I'm asking because this particular plug-in is my only interest in the
group buy. If it doesn't work I might as well withdraw from the group
buy and save some precious working hours. I'm figuring that some of
the work I have planned for River Run could also be done with Michael
Norris Sound Magic Special. Anyone having an opinion on that?

Per Boysen asked:

Or maybe the other way around, are there anybody using Logic 8 and Leopard
who doesn't experince this.

According to Audioease, and I quote, "this is not a bug really. You
catch some audio with riverrun, and then when you stop the sequencer
and you have caught some audio you can start sketching with it, even when
the sequencer is silent."

Hi,
I'm not receiving any answer from Audioease on this, although I
mailed them yesterday. Has someone here any advice to share? I have
singed up, I have the money but my payment is not accepted. And it
seems I can't sign up again. And the deadline for the deal
approaches... Details below:

Hi Per
I think I understand what happened - you did in fact try to sign on
more than once. In order to prevent people buying more than one
licence of each product, it is only possible to go through the
audioease store once with the address you signed up with. I'll get in
touch with audioease about this and see what we can sort out for you.
kind regards

Thanks you, Mark. The company finally answered. It took long time
because they needed to manually reset my log. But now I got my
Riverrun and authorized it. Just recently I read about iLok and
noticed that Audioease support that, but I did not find any
information on that when authorizing, so I just took the usual
response/challenge trip. I won't really need an iLok until I need to
use Pro Tools, and that may take some time yet.

You're welcome Per, and thanks for letting me know. Concerning the
ilok, for the audioease products in the Group Buy, it is in fact only
applicable for Speakerphone. Both the Nautilus and Rocket Science
bundles are challenge/response only. That is mentioned in the
announcement info we prepared for the group buy:
Audioease LUG Group Buy.htm
which you can find here:

Hi Mark,
So, if I understand this right, after signing up for speakerphone (which I
did)
I have to get in contact with audioease? I thought they would get in touch
with the
people who signed up.
Thanks for your help.
