Someone on the MPC3000 list was racking their brain trying to figure
out why he couldn't slave Logic to MIDI beat clock. I told them to join
this group as there has been discussion of this features omission.
I am curious if the manual explains the feature that has gone.

Indeed it doesn't , but the MPC3000 supports Sync MTC, or with a card,
SMPTE, although I've
heard of folks having issues with Sync, it is supported.
The manual doesn't explain why...maybe it will be in an addendum in the .1
update.

Removal of a feature is rarely documented.
