Subject: Logic 7.2 Pro: Use of External and Mac Audio MIDI w/ Unitor 8 on G5 1.8 - Help
Message #234271
I have 12 (yes 12) external MIDI analogue synthesizers. and I had to recently upgrade my Mac Desktop, version of Logic 7 and re-arrange the studio. My Mac Audio MIDI Setup mirrors what my MIDI Environment has in its window. The problem is that Logic doesn't RECOGNIZE the MIDI interfaces (they are shaded out-- named "Unitor 8" and Unitor 8#2"). What's strange is when I play back the notes in each instrument from the arrange window, you can see the levels go up and down, but there is no sound. Also, my signal on Input 2 (MIDI In for the Unitor 8 is just red all the time--and that is the input that I have my keyboard controller (MIDI Out) on, so I can't play anything. How do I reset the MIDI Interfaces in Logic so that I can get the units to talk to Logic again? Help. Regards, Uro
