Sorry to be a newcomer and not be able to navigate through the archives.
I have migrated from DP and Tracktion3 to Logic Studio [Logic 8]and wanted
to ask if anyone has any web resources, or advice, for successfully using an
older Mackie Control / XT [the *pre* Mackie Control Universal model] with
Logic.

Logic supports MC since Version 7. Also, you can DL MCU firmware update that
enables your old MC to work in Logic Control mode as well, just check the
Mackie support center page.

This is well documented in the mackie list. Start the mixer after you
start Logic and it should work.
