Hi all, if any of you have insight on the following, I'd be most grateful.
When using my Mbox as an interface with Logic, sometimes out of nowhere the
sound just conks out completely. Logic's own meters even stop registering a
signal - I can't get sound in through the Mbox inputs, and certainly not
out. (And under the Audio Hardware & Drivers menu, Logic still
registers
the Mbox as being attached to the system.) The only way to get sound
working again is to quit Logic, unplug and replug the Mbox into its USB slot
(I'm using the one on the front of my dual 2.0 G5 tower), and re-open Logic.
It may go 20 minutes or 20 seconds before the problem happens again.
Is this possibly software related, or is my Mbox shot? Normally I don't use
Mbox with Logic, but my main interface conked out a few weeks ago, and I'm
trying to get by while it's off being repaired. Thanks everyone; look
forward to your insights!
Best,
Jonathan
