I've been using the motu Traveler probelem free for a year-and-a-half.
I'm running Logic 7.1.1 on OSX 10.4.10 on an iBook G4
I installed the Tranzport and fired up Logic just using the laptop hardware.
It worked seamlessly.
The problem is, i can't get them to work together - The traveler will handle
audio I/O, and the Tranzport will show me measure numbers, meters and
labels, but the Tranzport buttons have no effect on Logic when the traveler
is hooked up.
I even tried hooking up the tranzport first, starting logic, then connecting
the traveler. I had the same result.
ideas?

For most Tranzport problems, Frontier recommends going
to "control surfaces" under Logic prefs and clicking
on "rebuild defaults".
If this doesn't solve your problem, they recommend
opening the set-up panel found in the above mentioned
"control surfaces" panel. Delete the Tranzport icon
then close and reopen Logic.
One of these 2 steps has always worked for me when the
Tranzport is acting squirrelly.
JP
