Subject: LAMP:want to buy a new audiocard...or wait for NAMM?
Message #12179
Hi luggers I use a Audiomedia III for the audio side of Logic, and I want to upgrade to a multiple I/O card that supports 16 and 24 bit audio. I want balanced i/o and, since I often need to sync to SMPTE or other time code,I also want to avoid buying a sync box. The Digi 001 would have been a good buy but the lack of sync support with directI/O makes it a nono. I was wondering if anybody has some gossip for the coming NAMM.I haerd that Emagic might be coming with something but I cannot garantee the source. thanks Pierre P.S the Motu card would have been a good choice, but to have sample accurate sync i would need to buy a MTP AV,and I just bought a Unitor and cannot afford the MOTU box on top of the audio card.
