Subject: re:4.1.1 video bug
Message #12148
I had a crash that was weird but not the same as yours. I had a sequence playing and I collapsed [LAMG] the arrange window . When I opened it I noticed the only element that was visible was the song position indicator and that it took about 2 seconds to redraw all the window elements. This I can understand because you would need to prioritize redraw of window elements to keep it efficient. but..... I decided to play. so I clicked the collapse button about 5 times in a row to watch what bits redrew and the order that they did..... crash. any brave LAM users what to give it a try? I haven't wanted another crash badly enough yet. I doubt i'll be jonesin' for a crash any time soon. ;-) different from your problem, but also very bug like > When I installed > 4.1.1, no video is output, the computer monitor whiteouts and then the whole > system crashes. Returning to 4.07, and the same thing happens. By disabling > the ReWire extension, everything is back to normal >
