Subject: [LUG] (LUG) Taking notes in Logic
Message #230358
Hey all , I have looked in the Logic book but have not been able to find if I can do this or not . I want to add notes (not musical notes) to my projects instead of having to use paper or track sheets . Can this be done ? Logic Pro 7.2 Thanks Mike

I was using Sonar untill I switched to Logic acouple of years ago . In Sonar there an info tab to click on where you are able to make notes about your songs , I used this like a track sheet and if I worked with friends using Sonar on there computer all they would have to do is check my info notes to see what I did. Unfortunately these titles are pretty short and you would need to use a number of them. You could have a few INFO tracks that were set to NO OUTPUT and had as many small notes on them as you wanted. It is kind of cumbersome and it sounds like you want more than that, but it would at least allow you to provide some visible notes on the arrange window. In one way it might be better than the Sonar info tab as it would be always visible in real time and wouldn¹t need to be clicked on. Maybe you have already thought of this, but if not it might be better than nothing. Blair -- blairfisher@shaw.ca

Similar to markers you can make comments on files in the Project Manager I tried it but it only has room for about 7 words, it does have room for 2 comments if that helps. Anyone else on this? Be good if we could import or float stickies onto the arrange page or any screen for that matter. Paul

Made by Terragon Audio, you can import/export text. Rzzz Canberra Oz
