Hi,
I have a hand held tape recorder. I'd like to use it to record and create
samples. How do I import that audio into logic?
Thanks,
-jg.

Analog output of this tape recorder into analog input of your Mac or
Audio Interface.

You don¹t give us much information about your setup, but I imagine
your best bet is to get a cable that will go from the outputs of
your recorder into the audio inputs of your computer. Check the
manual for basic information on recording audio.
