Subject: Making an audio matrix?
Message #229258
Hi I'm a new logic user and I was wonding if anyone could help me do this. I recorded a live show with a microphone and I also got an aiff of the soundboard. What is the best way to sync these two up? I tried just finding a good pop on both tracks (like a snare drum) and then lining the two tracks up based on that point but is seems after a while they start to just get farther and farther apart until there's a big delay. Please please help!!! -Will

If that's the case, your only choice may be to alter the length of one of the files until they are very close to matching at the end of the file. Generally better to speed up the file that's slower.

One was recorded with a little hand held thing, looked new, I think prob 24 bit and I recorded 24 bit too. He just gave me the file after the show.
