Hello Learned Logicians, Very Newbie needs to know why some inserts will load in to a Instr track, some will load a 1/5th of the way(sit there and do a crossword then give up and Force Quit), some don't even make the effort to convince me they're going to work. Also some of the Garage Band I/Os hang it up. UltraBeat, thank whoever, works but I would say about half of all the inserts force me to force quit. Tried to find a sloution everywhere and didn't want to bother anyone here if it's a moronic question but it's forcing me to question whether Logic is something I can handle or whether I should accept I'm just a Garage Band hack. Set up: Latest version of Pro, OSX 10.4.9, 2g, Core 2 Duo, 1.5g ram, StudioLogic SL900, m-Audio i-control and Fastrack Pro aud unit and control, SignalFlex Phantom Power adaptor, Acomdata FW xternal drive. All songs files are song external drive but Logic is fully on hard drive. Thanks John
