Thanks for the reply George- Can I still use NI plug ins and EXS in a project, just not send them to the Node processor, or if I'm using Node mode, I can't use EXS, NI, Waves, etc? Can't I send the Logic Plugins to the NODE, and use the host cpu for the others? And Sculpture works on Node, but not EXS? David Wilson Brandeis Theater Company Brandeis University Waltham, MA

All Logic plugins can be sent to the node with the exception of EXS. All other manufacturers' plugins can still be used but only on the host computer.

You can run any 3d party plug-ins on your host mac, not as a node. Make sure you review the docs.. I think there might be a "node FX must be in XXX slot" but I can't remember. > > David Wilson Take care, George Leger III ________________________________________________________ http://www.myspace.com/georgelegeriii http://www.utopiaparkwaymusic.com Music is the best (FZ)... It's too bad third party plugins installed on the node couldn't be used in a project on the host machine. I realize that's not the way Apple's node system works, but it would be nice. HW
