Hello there, my friends got a real nasty problem and I desperatly need some help! He's using an old G3 iMac running OS 9.2 and Logic 4.7 with a M-Audio Midisport 1 x 1 interface. When I went round there the other day, I thinkled some keys just after logic had loaded (and was probably still loading) which made his computer hang. Since then, every time he's played Midi into Logic, it freezes the computer. He gets the OS9 bomb error message (code 10 - apparantly a 'Line 1011 Trap') and has to restart the computer. Apparantly it's quite a common problem if you play midi notes when somethings loading, but as I've only used OS X and USB devices for music production I've never really come accross this. I thought that maybe re-installing the Midisport drivers would be a good idea, is there anything else that might help? If anyone can help or has similar experiences with this we'd love to know and be VERY gratefull.
