Hey, does anyone know if you can lengthen a note (or notes) in an audio
track? For example, sometimes I wish I could extend the length of a
particular note that was sung or guitar note in an instrumental track if it
seems like the singer or musician cut off a note a little too soon. It's
easy in a midi track to just grab a midi note and stretch it longer, but I
can't seem to find a tool to do this for a note in an audio track. Thanks
to anyone who can help.

Of course, but it's (absolutely) not as easy as midi.
You have to know about your timing, grid, zero-crossings, etc. Then,
if you have the sample editor open, you may mark a "note" (that is
an
information of length x) and let the time and pitch factory lengthen
that. But - you have to cut away what is pushed in the timeline after
that due to it's a "more" after the processing.
Let's say I sung do re mi fa, as 1-1-0,5-1 (lengths), but it has to
be 1-1-1-1, I have to isolate mi, have to extend this mi 100% to make
0,5 -> 1. But, after that I have 1,5 when I assume that all do, re,
mi and fa are sung in the right time grid but with wrong length. So I
have to cut the void (!) that had been between mi and fa to adjust
the length.
Sorry, I'm tired, so if I couldn't tell well, forgive me ;-)
You should study the time and pitch factory! That's the important clue.
