Hello Everyone. I'm having trouble learning the Tascam DM24 console and how to use the various routers. I'm "old-school" analog engineer but I'm pretty good with computers and electronics. I also need some help using the tascam GUI template with my MAC PRO and Logic. I would really like a personal tutor who can come over to my home studio and help me set this stuff and understand some of this. My home is in Bergen County, New Jersey (10mins. from Giants Stadium). I[m also having trouble, possibly in a slightly different area. Using Logic 7, MOTU2408 and DM24. Currently not able to make Logic and DM24 talk to each other, so use the DM24 as an overpriced set of Mic pre's and track returns. MOTU2408 connected via TDIF and operates faultlessly. I've not found much to help on the Tascam forum. It would be nice to be able to drive volume courves etc via the DM24 faders... Regarding routing within the DM24, I can usually just about get that to work and from and to Logic. What are you trying to route, and where? Happy to help if I can.
