I love Logic's ability to timestretch MIDI data by command/alt clicking and
dragging a sequence.
Does anyone know if you can do the same with automation and if so how.

I have a region whose length I need to increase by 25%. I tried the
method below, but it did not work.
For example measure #2 begins on the 3rd beat of measure one. So I
need to expand the region so it begins on the first beat of measure #2.

The way I timestretch MIDI info is just to drag it while holding command and
alt/option. The info box tells me its stretching and once I've reached the
desired length I get a dialogue box asking if I want to time compress or
expand the contents.
I found a way to do it to the automation too. By converting it to MIDI
(hyper draw) data. Go to Options > Track Automation > Move all track
automation data to region. Then apply the above to the region.

Nice tip!!!
I have used this conversion to hyperdraw and back for other reasons,
but this is a really great idea.
Thanks
