Subject: [LUG] How do I prevent automatic insertion of markers?
Message #227976
Hi, Re: Logic 5.5.1 PC When I set a section to cycle on the arrange page, a marker is automatically inserted. I end up with many unwanted markers. Is there a command or option that will prevent this? James

When you drag a cycle region and drag the mouse down into the marker area, the cycled section gets marked. I don't think you can disable this, but maybe it helps that you know now how you're making these markers. :) Maurits.

You are likely dragging the cycle zone down, which creates the marker. Just drag horizontally and no marker will be created. f-erenc szabo, smarty pants Z+E+R+O+B+E+A+T "NOW POWERED BY THE MIRACLE OF THE TRANSISTOR!" <http://home.goodmedia.com/~zerobeat>

And if you're creating the markers by accident like this, it's also worth knowing that you can delete them quickly by dragging from the marker area into the arrange page. Paul -- Paul Zimmer ZAP!
