There is a school of thought (which I am not necessarily a party to)
that Apple bought emagic to have access to technology that could be
ported to Final Cut Pro and on a secondary level, Garageband. This
might explain the lack of info and interest out of Apple for Logic as
a separate entity.
I guess the reality is...only time will tell. In the meantime I will
continue to enjoy the heartbeat of my studio.

I don't think Apple is abandoning Logic (yet).
