Subject: Re: [LAM] Channel(s) disappearing from track mixer
Message #69802
OK, I've got a weird one. Sometimes, I will go to the track mixer and one or more of the first audio tracks will be gone from view. They are still there in the arrange window, they are still there in the audio layer of the environment, and they still function properly. However, I can't access them in the track mixer. Doesn't matter which version of Logic, as this happened in 4.5 and 4.6, and now in 4.7. I must be doing something wrong. Anybody seen this problem or have a suggestion? Also, the bug that existed in 4.6 (Platinum) where the bus send levels are not visible in the track mixer is still present in 4.7. Workaround, as with my other problem, is to use the audio layer of the environment, where the levels do appear. Irwin G4/400, 310MB RAM Sonorus StudI/O x2

Hi, I had this problem and got rid of it by creating a new song document and moving all parts to that one. Probably the original song doc was corrupted in some way. Hi! I would like to automate the tempo-parameter of a delay plugin (Ohmboyz by www.ohmforce.com). Problem is it alway syncing itself to Logic's tempo (like it's supposed to do). Is there a way to disable this behaviour, other than going back to LOGIC 4.6.3 ? Thanks Marc

One of our producers has an affinity to the Sonic Foundry direct X EQ It causes huge problems when he uses it with Logic. Are there any tweaks that can make it run easier on the CPU or in some cases at all? Is this a general Direct X issue that might be fixed in V 5.0? I am running Direct X v 7.0

The workaround right now is to have Logic make a backup every time you save (see preferences). I don't think that will change in the near future. Bye, Joeri -- Joeri Vankeirsbilck joeri@... Well, all statements here are without any warranty. Sometimes we have to change priorities, because other even more important things show up. Some people have other priorities than we and so they may think: Why? This features is SOOO important. Well, I might not for us and thousands of our users and sometimes we can't even tell you the reason, because the higher priority features are top secret till they ship. Message #69819
Every time I open a particular song I get a "Can't Initialize Audiowerk" message then my machine crashes (G4/466/256meg). This seems to be a problem with the song itself. Is there a way to force the song to open (key command maybe) using the Mac AV configuration so I can rescue the elements of the song? If not is there a way to disable the Audiowerk to achieve the same result? Please help me save this little masterpiece. Thanks in advance.

I am sure this has probably already been discussed but does anyone know if it is possible to automate knobs within a VSTi such as the Pro52? Cable your VSTi channels to a channel splitter just like you did for audio channels. Then select such a channel splitter in the arrangement and record the movements on it. I think this should work.
