Subject: [GEN] strip silence for sequence / midi objects
Message #93666
Hi folks, is there a quick way of splitting an object in the arrange page into individual objects for each midi note - kind of like strip silence / replace region in the audio realm? I'm working with recycled beats and want to be able to mute different bits without having to laboriously split the bars up into their bits first. I've tried demix by note but it creates loads of tracks with each object as long as the original 1 / 2 / 4 bars - I want to make lots of little regions out of one bar on the same track. There must be a way of doing this that I've missed isn't there? If not it would make a great key command (hint, hint...) best, pk
