It is as simple > as that. > It used to be a feature. It was a program change event, with a checkbox. When it was unchecked, the seq played whatever was selected in the track instrument. Once you checked the box, [or, I beleive, normalised sequence parameters] it became fixed. I guess they found it to be redundant. It disappeared very early in version 4. Dave Eager
