This is a reply to #49210.
JB In the original mail I explained that I am in the process of BUYING a software. I did not use the cracked version, a fellow musician showed me how it worked on his computer. As far as cubase is concerned, they have been smart enough to release a demo-version so that people such as myself may get familiar with the software before cashing out. In fact, it seems incredibly shortsighted of Emagic not to do the same and distribute a save-disabled demo of Logic Audio from their web-page. I know for sure that they have lost potential customers to Steinberg for that reason, and they are about to lose me as well, especially when I also get this kind of discouraging, sour-stomached insinuations. It is a lot of money to cash out for software for a hobby-musician such as myself, but I am willing to do it. But please accept that I need to have a slight idea of what I am buying in advance. Cheers and good luck Bjorn Blomberg Norway > Hey "smarty pants" > > if YOU'RE using the cracked version of Logic, which you seem to know > something about, maybe you should keep it to yourself rather than posting to > the user's group. > > Even if you're not, going out of your way to offer advice to someone that > you obviously suspect MIGHT be using a cracked program seems like a slap in > the face to Logic and the rest of us out there who support them. > > jb > > > >> Message: 1 >> Date: Sun, 31 Dec 2000 20:58:35 -0500 >> From: "f-erenc szabo" <zerobeat@...> >> Subject: Re: LAM: Why buy Logic instead of Cubase? >> >> bris@... writes: >>> One thing I seem to miss in Logic is VST instruments. >> >> Logic has had this capability for many months (a year?) >> now.
