Indeed, sometimes it requires some work, but well, once you get used to save
everything in one folder (as you described) it's not that big deal.
I even go so far to save everything else (like additional virtual
drummachine files, soundcard sets) in the same dir as well.
There's still something 'weird' with audiofiles (actually it's just normal,
but requires some extra work), whenever you just delete a file from the
audio window instead of permanently erasing it, it's still on your harddisk
and you have to search and delete it manually if you later decide you won't
need it at all.
Would be nice to have such a function as VSTs "prepare Master"
which saves
all used (and optimized!) files into one folder of your choice.
I mean, with the method you described it's ok, but could be a little bit
more comfortable at times.
