Hey Sascha,
Thanks for your help on this issue. You know it's funny you
mentioned that about a cracked version, because I have misplaced my
install cd (4.04), but I have my install floppies, and of course the
dongle. I spoke with a guy at Emagic about getting me another cdrom
asap, and he said they were out, and that it might be a week or 10
days before he could send me one.
I went by my local dealer for help, and they suggested that they
just burn a copy from a package they had there. So it is a burned
copy
of the install CD. I will be getting one from Emagic in a week or so.
BUT I had this problem, before I had to format and reinstall
everything on my PC. I just wanted you to know that it is a copy, not
a crack, but a copy. Plus I had problems with the install, the
application file didn't have ".exe" after it, it had
".ex_", so I had
to take some of the files from my old install to make it work. My old
install folder was on another partition, when my boot drive went bad.
Maybe when I get a real cdrom, everything will work, do you think?
