Until recently I was having a lot of trouble with system instability and freezes with LAWG and AW8 (with Windows 98 SE). Then I flashed my ABIT BX6 Rev 2 motherboard to the latest BIOS available and Logic/AW8 have been running like a dream ever since - no more freezes, no more crashes, I can even open Logic with other programs in the background...and this was BEFORE I upgraded to LAWG 4.5. My gut feeling is that the power-saving features of the motherboard were having some nasty side effects with the AW8, but the new BIOS has fixed it completely. I can only tell you what worked for me...your mileage may vary....
