That's a bold statement, and probably not that well thought-through, which is the main reason they tell beta-testers not to talk about the beta as it ends up being interpreted as "on behalf of" the beta, because statements such as that can be misleading and end up having a negative effect... i.e., when Person A's "annoying bug" turns out not to fixed after initial excitement (and in some cases was never a bug in the first place but rather the user's inability to crack open the manual).
