This is a reply to #28768.
this would work fine with drum samples, but ranging pitch wouldnt really be useful.. but its a thought worth trying out... -----Original Message----- From: Gary Hayton [mailto:ghayton@...] Sent: Friday, June 09, 2000 1:35 AM To: 'logic-users@egroups.com' Subject: RE: [LUG] FW: how to daisy chain midi out from logic to ext. syn ths... The only way I can think of to do this would be to play the notes in different parts of the kekboard, using a note splitter in the environment window. For example, synth 1 could be assigned to play notes below middle C, and synth 2 could be assigned top play notes middle C and above. It limits the range of notes you can play, but does extend the sound pallette! > ---------- > From: Daniel Atkinson > Reply To: logic-users@egroups.com > Sent: Thursday, June 8, 2000 1:01 pm > To: logic-users@egroups.com > Subject: RE: [LUG] FW: how to daisy chain midi out from logic to > ext. syn ths... > > > > > Thoughts from the mind of Joseph Taormina, 07-06-2001: > > > > >does anyone know how to daisy chain control 2 synths using > > midi thru and > > >have them playing differnt notes on the same track number? > > I think this is possible - you need the channel of the instrument you > are using on the track set to 'All', then specify the channel number for > each note in the event list editor. > > Dan > > > > Unsubscribe: mail to logic-users-unsubscribe@egroups.com > Unsubscribe: mail to logic-users-unsubscribe@egroups.com
