As far as I know, your stuck on this one. Final Cut can bring in SMPTE code
with clips, but it cannot sync its transport to SMPTE, as far as I know.
The only way to bridge the gap between the two is to export a scratch movie
from Final Cut, bring it in to Logic, and work in Logic. When you bounce
your audio and bring it in to Final Cut, it should sync up perfectly with
your video.
Unless someone else has an idea, I think that exporting/importing is the
only way to use the two programs together. Same with Premiere. I don't
know about Media 100. Avid can do sync, but probably not on the same
computer.
